discover your world

Miffy is so famous that she has had her own museum since 2016. The Miffy Museum was previously known as the Dick Bruna House (founded in 2006), but nowadays the whole museum is dedicated to Miffy and her family and friends.

The Miffy Museum really is a voyage of discovery for toddlers and pre-schoolers. It’s a world within a world, with ten thematic spaces where kids interact with the world around them step by step. The spaces are inspired by Dick Bruna’s picture books. The children can visit Miffy in her own home, go to the doctor, see animals in the zoo, and learn more about museums.

The museum attracts more than 150,000 visitors a year, many of whom are tourists from China and Japan. In the near future, the Miffy Museum will be renovated and extended. It will then be twice as big! There will be more for kids to discover and do, with a Miffy theatre and a museum restaurant.

The museum will reopen as soon as possible. Please bear in mind that corona measures have changed the way you will visit the museum. Please visit the Miffy Museum site for further information. If you’re curious, please click here to take a look around inside.
