Dick Bruna has died
Author and illustrator of 124 picture books, Dick Bruna's career spanned 60 years. First published in 1955, the Miffy stories are now published in more than 50 languages, and have sold over 85 million copies worldwide. It is his style of illustration that has made Dick Bruna a household name. Dick Bruna was born on 23 August, 1927.
